The Brink  ACC system is a very effective ventilation system based around the concept of Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV). Third party tests have concluded that ACC can use as little as 50% of the minimum ventilation rate specified by the Dutch building regulations (which is designed for traditional ventilation systems).

Another important aspect of (mechanical) ventilation systems is sound/noise. If systems produce too much sound/noise, then end-users will turn them down or even off and this will result in a poor IAQ. Therefore, it is of great importance to design the system so that the system creates a good IAQ at acceptable sound/noise levels.
